They don't come much better than that, location is spot on. Game over for me - Now how do I get 12 million..............
Weird - it does nothing for me. The grounds look good, although the upkeep would annoy, and I dont mind the exterior of the house but the interior is a big no for me. I would need to rip a lot out and start again - that stair case is absolutely vile.

Each to their own though. I like the one mentioned above (the old rectory I think it was) with nice square rooms.
Me too.

The grounds are nice but the interior is awful.
Bad advertising. Features the garden/golf course heavily, and yet the main deal breaker for house sales is usually keeping the misses happy with a lovely kitchen, yet there are no shots of the kitchen....
My old bosses house, was also the house on Footballers Wives, he owned it when they were filming it there.

Was about 10m cheaper when he bought it too.
To be honest it was more about location for me..........

The tower in Scotland at about 8 M less is rather nice.............

Technically within London, yet with grounds that extensive - surely has to be up there...
Ghastly...

FIVE acres, for £25+ million, they must be having a laugh.
That is stupid, stupid money. I'm sure someone wants to, but who on Earth is it that wants to live in Colorado so desperately?
Surely, you could buy 100 acres somewhere for under $1 million and build the house for $5 million, certainly under 10.

You definitely could buy 100 acres for less than a million in a lot of places.

Not in Aspen though, probably the most desirable ski resort in North America and people are prepared to pay a hell of a lot to live there.

Amazing how many celebs want to die by hitting pine trees at 45mph in Aspen.

I was at Windereme the other weekend and have decided that I would like to live here for the full Swallows and Amazons:

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Although I do struggle a little with it being described as a 'statement property'. Mind, it does needs updating, so on the basis I could land my helicopter in the grounds, then this one would do at a push:

I think it is just the correct side of modern vs footballer (although marked down for the overuse of recessed downlighters).

Both nice but liking the second one although the have been a bit ott with the use of grey. Slightly interesting room layout on the second floor too, going through bathrooms to get to bedrooms.
Great view.
