Local to me, within 10 miles anyway, who wouldn't their own vineyard?
Southcote Farm comprises a lovely 5 bedroom farm house with an extensive range of traditional barns surrounding a large yard, extensive modern farm buildings, stables, sand school, cattle buildings, 20 acres of productive vines, pasture and woodland. In all about 54.17 acres.

Slightly biased because I worked on it when it was rebuilt, but it's so close to perfection for me, and the location is amazing.
Nice little profit for the current owners, although, not as much as I would have thought given how crazy the market is at the moment. They appear to have bought some land off a neighbour, as the garden looks massive compared to when it was sold, so potentially not a huge amount of uplift considering the likely cost of that land.

Sorry but I can't see past the roof tiles clashing with the stone.Slightly biased because I worked on it when it was rebuilt, but it's so close to perfection for me, and the location is amazing.

Or is it the pointing and fascia - it looks awful.

Not keen on the fascia either, but think the roof tiles and pointing looks fine. There were a few test patches done for the pointing and they decided on that mix.Or is it the pointing and fascia - it looks awful.
I'm pretty sure it's a conservation area or similar, and the council would have had a say in some of the finishes.
Nice but it would make me worry about the obvious......

The coastal erosion on that stretch of the coastline is pretty scary and, from what I recall, the EA have waived a white flag on the battle - with it being neither financially or practically viable to maintain defenses. Such a shame.£5m + 144 acres - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...
I've decided that I quite like this...

Master bed needs changing in terms of layout, I really don't understand why anyone sets a master bedroom up with a dressing room that you can't access from the landing.
Surely the idea is that you return home late, with your good lady at home in bed, change into one's night attire in the dressing room and then slip between the covers? And of course vice versa when heading out early on "business"...

This looked nice, until I found out the re-routing of the A428 is likely to happen and will "probably" route behind this and disturb the lovely views...

The flood defence thing would be useful here - another quite nice one....
