Trying to find the price of the Hampton Court chalet (it's between £10m and £10.5m) and found this too, Mediterranean Medieval or even Roman villa in style.

I don't usually like new builds which imitate old buildings, but that looks pretty good.SilverSpur said:
Awful! Possibly the 'coldest' house posted on here, and in a pretty horrid part of the UK.had ham said:

Awful! Possibly the 'coldest' house posted on here, and in a pretty horrid part of the UK.Its not terrible in itself and if it was a few miles further out of suburbia with a bit of land around it and views it would be OK if you like that sort of thing
But for me the plot looks too modest and your neighbours are far too close
Cheers
Quite far from "pawn" I know, but I'd love to have the money to throw at this and make it my own.

I grew up 3 miles down the road. It's one of the nicest and best locations in the country. Having said that, I am not a fan of Grasscoft itself. I'd rather be in Doncross. But, you live in the rolling hills of Saddleworth where you can ride on some great trails or walk for miles without meeting another person. The villages still have a great social life and there is always something going on. You can walk to the station and be in Manchester or Leeds in under an hour. Also, BBC is now comuteable and you would count former and present United, city players as your neighbours.
For my 2.5M pounds it would not go near the house in the listing though. There are some hidden mansions in the area you can pick up for less.

That could be awesome. Not liking the lean on the front wall. Something screams disaster to me if that's bought. How much to renovate and decorate? 500k plus? http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...
Note I know nothing of these things.

What the hell? That's not simply 'enhancing' the images, that's outright misleading!
In fairness the image they've shown is from the river bank side rather than the roadside. Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
