£650 isnt too bad actually, but on bigger properties like that, its quite hard to price off £/sq ft. Theres streets not far away from there, just set back from the main road, which are regularly priced and sold at £1k sq/ft, which seems about the max at the moment for the area.

The issue with this place is the main roads its on is busy and not overly nice.

I agree. Funny thing, I live about 2 miles away from here, more silent part and been there many times never seen this building before or noticed it! quite shocking. biggrin

The area itself (miles end), going through a massive change though, the future of current retails and older developments prospects are not known, the city has been investing here massively since olympics.

What do you expect for that money though, not going to be in Mayfair is it. The house itself looks very nice, love the viewing terrace and space. Pretty cool place, id go for it over a regular semi anyway!!

Choose one of the three (probably not the garage "conversion"), airbnb the other two and live off the revenue... Idilic.

Just a small problem of lack of the required capital.
That is one of the few on here i actually like smile
Interestingly I saw this on another thread today saying they knew the owners who ran it as a business. Guess it's not doing so well as a rental....

When I lived in Bishopbriggs a few decades ago, Springburn was the kind of place where you gave serious consideration to not stopping at a red light.

I guess that's why it's got battlements and no external street facing windows.
