Working my way through the thread, interesting that all these are now sold STC. They're within 10 miles or so of me, I wouldn't want to live there now but as retirement places there's definitely appeal.

Great find.
Lovely house, outbuildings, grounds etc.
The modern kitchen is a bit crap and some of the decor isn't too my taste, but that wouldn't stop me.
Just the £1.75mil to sort out now...!

House next to a certain J. Corbyn's up for sale, a "reworking of a mid-terrace 1960s townhouse", yours for just under a mill.

Dear god that is awful.

And for a million quid? Ridiculous.
Design is overworked & ham-fisted at the same time. Not the architect's finest moment, I'd hope.

A million quid for what outside of London would be described as a slum hovel with an IKEA kitchen. Jesus H Christ

Shame I was hoping on a lottery win. The market around here has been depressed for a while but lately houses are shifting.

Love it around there.

Pretty awful IMO. Doesn't even have a view of LA which is sort of the whole point of being in the hills.

I thought that was going to be perfection itself until I saw the tower block overlooking the pool area.

Far more modest than the rest on this thread but this is the kinda setting I would love to build or renovate a house in, stunning.

I thought that was lovely until I realised it's only half of that building. Splendid isolation is no good with a neighbour.
