Lovely. And seems remarkably reasonable given the location?

He wasn't the only one to use Araphaho in the hit parade though pop pickers:

Blackfoot, Pawnee, Cheyenne, Crow
Apache, Arapaho
Altogether now:

Hold a chicken in the air
Stick a deckchair up your nose
Buy a jumbo jet
And then bury all your clothes
Paint your left knee green
Then extract your wisdom teeth
Form a string quartet
And pretend your name is Keith

Skin yourself alive
Learn to speak Arapahoe
Climb inside a dog
And behead an Eskimo
Eat a Renault Four
Wear salami in your ears
Casserole your Gran
Disembowel yourself with spears

It's near Doncaster, the Victorians spoiled it, it needs a load spending - but it's a James Paine mansion for the price of a 3-bed in Zone 2:

It's not too close to Doncaster. But isn't HS3 going through there?

You have to really like planes to live in Charlwood. The 3 miles distance does not tell the whole story, that is the distance from the main terminal. The distance from the end of the 3 mile (ish) long runway is not so far.......

Wouldn't stop me living there as it is otherwise quite nice. IIRC a schoolmate lived next door and was given a scrambler by the man himself.

Just looked at the map - you're right. It's very close to the end of the runway.

I see. Didn't look at the map or give consideration to that. My comment was simply at its proximity to the city.

Great little village. Too close to donny? It's goldthopre and thurnscoe troglodytes that you want to worry about right on the doorstep.

I know they are propososing going through mexbourough a brand new housing estate if it carries on north it might not be too far away from there.

Looks very nice, KL in NL!
The lack of garden though, when you've a young 'un, would have been a no go for me when our 2 were young.
Now they're teens, a terrace/deck would suffice!
Odd layout for bedrooms, essntially 2 on the groudn floor, although 1 is off the garage, and another small one next to the master on the 2nd floor?

A few from my neck of the woods:

(Ex chairman of HOF) - Love the private golf course and grounds! - even the house and garages look very well laid out. Even better is a 5 minute drive and 15 minute train and you'll be in Central London

Or around the corner:

Not built yet and a far smaller plot but a 17k sqft house done to your own tastes for ~£5m all in when built I reckon would be very nice - they've nailed the layout in the planning process too! (IMO of course)

Been on here before. Impressive (especially as I love golf) but it doesn't feel like a home, more like a corporate retreat.

Back in the day, I expect this was rather good.

Location not as desirable as it was back in the day I expect, but it could be made to be very pleasant
