You're not though, are you? So why say it?

If you really think it might be offensive, keep your trap shut.

How could having any opinion about a place possibly offend anyone? Unless they were maybe 5 years old and you told them you hate the pillow fort they just built.

dangerous game, suggesting that anyone has a right not to be offended. He obviously likes the place, so maybe, and rightly, he couldn't give a st what i think. There is a lot of money in the area, and some very famous people have houses there. I suspect the thing i thought was a bit weird, is exactly the thing they like about the place. It's very clean and neat, with only nice people.

That isn't what I meant. It's the addition of 'sorry if it offends' that rings false.

This thread attracts a broad church, and is all the better for it. Some of us like some things, others have different definitions of property pawn.

Wow- the Italy one is very tasteful,

the American one, I was just flicking through the exterior shots....... and then the cavernous interior !
The American place, it's just tooooooo cavernous. If you had four generations living there with ten kids and thirty grand kids then it might work. But for a small FA,ily, it would just feel empty. You'd need to be the Walton's to enjoy it!

Well it is up in Utah.....they could put a wife in each wing.

Been looking at more houses cars and yachts in there now. Jesus some people have an enormous amount of money.

Some great ranches in the states with mountains and rivers etc. Sigh.

the centre pool looks like a the roof has had a leak and ending up there.

The artwork on the floor and tv looks like student accommodation.

Nice modest log home for sale in the lower Appalachians. Country living at low price. This would be around 450-550 quid a month. Plus property tax and home owners insurance so around 700 quid all in when the currency is converted. 3% 30 year fixed mortgage.

There are many affordable large homes for the price of a terrace house. I guess people like posting the extreme homes in overpriced locations.

Utah is a nice place depending on where. Ranging from hot desert to Alpine meadow.

This is my kind of home.

Because this is a pawn thread. We should have a real estate readers wives thread. I have seen a few candidates on here before.

All rather falsely "olde worlde - European" in California. That said, the outside entertaining space and the 12 car garage are rather nice. Those bits, and the pools, would do me - forget the reat of the house! laugh

Just me who's never seen a film like that from an estate agent? I'm not sure if I love the lifestyle I'm being sold and want to buy it or am mildly offended and patronized... Still something to ask my estate agent to do when I come to sell my 3 bed terrace...

I also expected the cast of Entourage to appear at some point...

So you get to replace the bloke in the Aston yes? He gets 'disappeared', you inherit his misses, kids, friends and dog? I'm in. Although his wife could probably do with an optional upgrade too...
