There is absolutely nothing I don't love about that place.
After a bit of a better look, and a read of particulars, it seems that the BBQ would probably be a bit of a pain to convert to Gas. So I'll have to let you have it. thumbup
On a note of serious deficiency, I don't think the trampoline is close enough to the pool to facilitate proper bombing (pic 4), so that will need fixing before I submit my offer.

That would be magical in winter, a lot of house for the money but not stupidly big.

Being a tall chap, I'd struggle in some of the rooms, but having a lawn where your stripes converge at the horizon must be a life goal.

Someone mentioned South Hams, does this qualify?

I'd put a nice retired couple in the cottage to the left, who would garden and look after the holiday lets, and just have a relaxed, carefree life...

You application has been noted. Please be aware that the selection process will include:

  1. Testing of your ability to mow a lawn in very straight stripes.
  2. Tasting of your homemade delicious cakes, including (but not limited to) Bakewell Tart and Carrot Cake.
  3. A timed run through the Total Wipeout course with the red balls.
  4. Assessment of your customer services skills to give a general warm cuddly feeling for our guests.

If for no other reason than I'd regularly use the nearby tidal road which I still get excited driving down...

This one is about a mile away from where I live.

$1,950,000

I am fairly sure it was availible cheaper recently but I can't see the old price. The annual property taxes are $45k which is off putting.
What on Earth...?

Nice modest log home for sale in the lower Appalachians. Country living at low price. This would be around 450-550 quid a month. Plus property tax and home owners insurance so around 700 quid all in when the currency is converted. 3% 30 year fixed mortgage.

Perfect .

I'd love to live in the woods away from everybody. Could day hike the AT I suppose too from there.

What's even better is that if I sold everything I could buy that mortgage free. But they wouldn't let me in. Seven acres and a natural berm too. smile

Having bought a car from him, I am happy to provide a glowing reference as to Gen. de Gaulle's excellent customer service skills. The job is his!

looks like the builders got the plans upside down, half-built the house and then realised, but carried on anyway.

It probably looks better when you are in front of it so you can only see one small part at a time.

Great inside though

Is this where 3 buyers sit and watch ladies parade in front of them before bidding?
