that is nasty and totally deluded price
Seems to me they are basing it on the plot and levelling the existing monstrosity and potentially building 2 new houses on there.
Something tells me that's what they're hoping - to catch a developer who'll knock down and put up a couple of McMansions.

However I assume they're speculating as any developer worth their salt would have sought them out long before now if it was a plot worth considering.

Maybe it's a probate sale, that usually brings out the moneygrabbers.

Ha! Hadn't noticed that. As you say, without decent access a developer won't touch it but a pound to a penny that's what they're hoping.

Definitely probate then, half a dozen kids and grandkids up to their eyeballs in finance hoping to get rich quick on granny's legacy.

This place seems cheap needs redecorating and kitchen though.

Quite like that too. Modern without being too over the top. You can tell they have thought about the lighting as it works well imo.

Tiny garden - but is that an e-type parked outside in the satellite view?

Seems rather silly money given it's not SE (don't know what Cheltenham property prices are like, probably daft) and no real garden/land worth talking about.

Cheltenham Spa is very pricey.
add to that the perceived provenance of being a "Royal's" house.

I know the North/South thing has been done to death, here, there and everywhere, but that Northumberland country home with a relatively small 24 acres for less money would be a lot more appealing to me...!
