Indoor swimming pool, hot tub, gym, cinema and a bath in the master bedroom. Plus a HELIPAD!

All for under £3 million.
It's called "Keepers Lodge". hehe

I've never met a game keeper with the need for a helipad.

I doubt many goal keepers would either...
Click on the Virtual tab on Rightmove then the 3D showcase - never seen one of those before. The dolls house style layout needs a bit of work as even for me (who works in resi interiors and with cad daily) its a bit of a jumble but the idea is pretty cool.

It looks like the laser scanning technology that was used in a BBC programme on Italy's Invisible Cities

used extensively on properties in the States. Zillow is awash with these walk through files.. Allegedly you can load them on to your phone and use the 3D viewing goggles to do a tour! All rather cool.

Not tried it yet myself. I can see better uses for 3D goggles!!

Looks a bit of a jumble externally but on the whole I really like that.

Have you checked the overhead images on Google? Looks like you share access with a marina or similar. May not be the quiet retreat on a summers day.

I think the issue is that the lead picture is very cleverly shot to minimise how much of the sailing club you can see, in such a way that it looks like yo have lake frontage. Which you don't.

It wouldn't necessarily put me off, but someone daft enough to view without checking the satellite view might be a bit annoyed.

Surely anyone who vies the house will see the reservoir and the sailing club for themselves? They won't need Google Earth.

Not as epic as some on this thread, but the location is pretty nice* with no neighbours, and right in the middle of a National Trust property:

  • if you ignore the proximity of Stansted Airport

I expect it belongs to the National Trust. Still 104 years left on the lease

pros/cons

no 1 its cheap.

no 2- look at it and its potential

no 3- interesting history, including a recent death. (the owner jumped off the 4th floor tower whilst being investigated by the plod and HMRC)

no 4 - its actually in quite a nice area- albeit within a couple of miles, not so great. but its tucked out of the way.

Keighley is literally undesirable number 1 spot, though.
