Nothing much different from the rash of modern 'town homes' popping up on estates around the country. We looked at a few and its built on a postage stamp and built upwards. Most of the house is staircase!

Not for all the tea in China. Not the house... it's in Naples. I have been to the other Naples in Italy many times.... horrid place.. apart from the crap bar at the entrance to the dockyard!
Similar to the fact I could never date a woman with the same name as my first wife!!!

It's not on the best road (Gordon) so something of a bargain. The properties along Gordon have stunning views especially when you get a special sunset. I just can't get on board with a lot of the internal decoration. Perhaps it's that's separating me from those that pay high 8 figures for a house there hehe

Only 30-odd miles from me. Nice setting, but I think it's soulless. Got to say I'm not a fan of these massive show-off type houses.

Now this is more to my liking. You certainly get a lot for your money in that part of the country, too.

That's lovely, looks like a home. I could even get to love the carpet.

I'm normally a fan of classical revival and Terry is one of the best.

However, I think the proportions are a bit "off". The central pediment and entablature are too narrow and "pinched" for my tastes, whilst the wings are too long in comparison.

I'll not be buying.

I think a large family of cushions lives there, can't be any humans.

Commonplace in the southern hemisphere.... permits you to pay off interest & capital quicker, since the repayment schedule means less accrued interest.

That NZ house looks hideously over-priced to me.
Obviously, it's priced fine, as the local market will dictate that, but i can't see VFM in it anyway.

It's in the South Island which is a lot less than Auckland.

http://grahamwall.com/property/8-wairangi-street-h... this is prime Auckland. it's about 12M GBP

http://grahamwall.com/property/nzs-largest-residen... this sold 2 years ago for 22M GBP

http://grahamwall.com/property/40-selwyn-avenue-mi... something more modest in a prime location, I'm guessing but 4-5M GBP
