The building on the left is a "Double Garage with attached Orangery"

increased in value approx. £8k per month over 10 years so there are your running costs sorted.

Why so cheap? looks ace!
It's not detached unlike the description says

This is attached at the back - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.180801,-1.902374...

Spin around and you have the primary school parking outside too.
Looks an architectural mess to me - the original 17C style has been totally lost.

The benefits of using a wide-angled lens to mis-lead potential viewers that the place is bigger than it really is. I saw one once where the driveway looked big enough to land a jumbo jet, yet when I drove to the house you would struggle to get two cars on it.

I think we've had this one before. 'Soon' to disappear beneath HS2, which will cost too much and achieve precisely zero.

With 50 acres one assumes it won't "disappear" beneath anything and the railway will be a mile or so away.

And it's a long tunnel under that area.

Cutting and then"green" tunnel under the drive about 50m. HS2 is no respecter of your garden.

It's beautiful, but why so expensive?

There are three extant planning permissions allowing for the further development of the property to create a unique lochside family residence, to alter and extend the existing Boathouse and/or to expand the commercial letting business with additional lodges.
Yeah, that'll do it.

I love it though, and would be happy with just the boathouse.
