Apologies.

I will try not to post again unless I have something meaningful to say.

Yes I appreciate the irony of this post. wink

Great thread. I am intrigued. OP cannot ask the neighbour now as it would spoil the thread

Not a lot done yesterday, looks like they finished the floor and started laying out the blocks, I think it's electrics dead centre of the floor and water and 1.5" waste far left.

More strange bits to the build, he's put a plinth at the very bottom with a gap underneath.
If it's a puppy farm they may escape under there!!

oh I've just understood - they're 90 degree bends that are exiting sideways through he wall. In the pic it looked like they were going straight down.

Yeah but the other side of that wall is the garden fence isn't it!

Definitely a gas chamber.

Does your neighbour exhibit any extreme right-wing tendancies?

OP, you are a nosey b@stard.

Get a brew made up and get out with a plate of biscuits for the brickie in the morning. Brush up on your small talk.

I think the OP is the OP, builder and neighbour rolled into one and he keeps adding these walls and pipes to keep us hooked.
Wall not tied in, wrong insulation, wrong blocks. It's definitely a ruse but I can't figure out how.

We need to start a thread on what the OP of this thread is up to. wobble

that, IHMO, would spoil it. It's more fun to work it out.

Sorry, bit late here...

He's building a chamber to contain your tight farts.

Must be a bloody nightmare living next to you.

Me too, though the awful fact is that we're never going to find out what it is....once the roof goes on, that's it! We'll never get to see inside, the OP can't even peek through the windows because there aren't any.

This is worse than the Nazi bunker thread, at least with that there's an outside chance we'll find out more one day - with this, another few days and the only pictures we'll get are of roofing felt!

Go online, order a core drill and suitable sized bit
this will allow continued access once the roof goes on

if neighbour questions why your drilling a big hole in his wall, explain that you are aware of his fondness for lots of holes / pipes in his building. and thought you would add to the tally

I reckon that he's going off grid and that's a sewage separation tank

Should be OK upwind I would think, but you might want to plan when you put the washing out.
