Got a koi pond, which I built myself and I can't work how this can be one. The plastic bag in the middle of the slab could feasibly be a bottom drain (or the plug hole for the non koi experts) but that should only be connected to one length of 4'' pipe sticking up out of the concrete, but then I noticed the m.d.p.e pipe poking out of the slab, which could used to trickle feed water into a pond. OP could you possibly ask your neighbor what he's up to, 'cause there is a builder with a koi pond sat here who's pulling his hair out trying to work out what it isirked

I reckon it's a coverup. The 6 feet pipes you see in the first pic are NOT under the concrete. They're somewhere inside being used for nefarious reasons. yes

Maybe he knows something you don't? Perhaps your house will now sink under a mountain of st and he will be sitting high and dry?

It's not a koi pond pipe work is all wrong and the covered piece isn't big enough for a bottom drain and it's too close to one end. Also is that a door half wall along the wall on the right?
Just ask him today.

You need to set up cctv so we don't miss anything, or how about a webcam?

I've got a sneaky suspicion that this isn't the neighbours building at all and in fact your own.

So come on tell us?

Look at the height the photo has been taken from in relation to the hight of the fence opposite.

There's either no fence between you and your neighbour or your in fact trespassing on his land!

I'm calling you out sorry.

Could be this, OP has some bits of pipe, concrete blocks lying about, doesn't know what to do with them so posts up a pic and everybody starts chucking ideas aboutrotate

I'd love the OP's neighbour to be a PH'er & have thought "what can I do with those old soil pipes I have in the garage that'll get old noseybonk next door talking"

Now that would be funny, the building on the right is a summer house / games room ( & smoking funny fags room) at the bottom of the garden and yes there is a door that opens out that will now open into the new extension! There was a perfectly good shed here that's been demolished for this project.
They are working today and started putting cavity walls up, taken a pic from bedroom window to put a stop to the conspiracy fears biggrin
