A friend of the family who was in the RAF for 35 years took an interest in the renovation so I named it after his late wife, hence the name.

These really are lovely. I'm a keen DIYer but I could never attempt one of those - the patience and prep time to achieve that finish would be too much for me.

The plane is wonderful.

That looks a bit like the one I had (see ^^^ up there), mine was a fire chief car with a hose on the back.

I just bought a Triang Vanwall like the three in the photo, needs restoration - this thread is inspirational!

These are stunning - top work OP!

Later generation, but I've just taken my Tri-ang Rolls Royce Corniche electric car out of the shed prior to putting it on EBay.

Never realised at the time, but the quality of these things is just superb. Other than the batteries being dead it's in pretty bloody good nick (oh, and the loss of the windscreen frame, but that was an in period calamity...).

Beautiful work.

I'd love to see one of these cars in Ferrari red with proper shields.

Plus Marlboro colours would be great.

Also if it were possible, how about a six wheeler in Tyrell colours. That may well be the coolest pedal car ever made.
