Hi
Please don't assume things about people you don't know. The man living in the shed has a habit you don't like but may not be bonkers. Some people have no sense of smell or think urine is good for the soil.
People are generally more alike than different. He may be really interesting and likeable.
Imagine what kind of impact you have already had on his life. He had a nice quiet secluded albeit little home. Now his privacy has been invaded and the children may be making unwanted noise.
I am not suggesting you live with the smell but kindness is one of the most important qualities for a beautiful life.
I think the suggestion to mention the smell without suggesting that you know the source is a good one. Proceed softly and be open to outcomes you had never imagined you may be presently surprised. Look for the good in people.

Does he now have an internet connection in the shed?
Maybe powered by some form of urea reactor?

I don't know when the OP last posted on PH but 3/4 of his/her 12 posts are on this 4 year old thread.....February this year it seems.

Not even sure if it's true or made up as suggested too.

I suspect the chap built it as somewhere to live, rather than viewing it as an investment.

what a novel idea
Unfortunately it does seem novel nowerdays, that’s why when it all goes tits up, gonna be tears before bedtime. Mind you I’ve been saying that for 5 yrs and boats changed yet.

Anyway back to a really old thread, would love to know what happened

When I lived in Australia I lived in a metal shed in a friends garden, $20 a week.

I was called "shed boy".
They're sharp witted, those Aussies.
