Damp surveyor has recommended we get a dehumidifier for our holiday flat.

Requirements are that it has a drain plug as I will run a hose to the bath and have some form of sensor so kicks in when humidity reaches a certain level? Or should I just leave it on a timer?

Ideas? Suggestions?

Cheap Ebac 2650e. Can be drained straight into the bath with the optional drainage kit (a piece of hose!) and has a sensor to turn on when required. They work really well

+1 to the ebac 2650e

I have one in the shower room as the ventilation is terrible, keeps it nice and dry and also has the added benefit of raising the temperature in the winter (dryer air needs less energy to heat it).

The drain hose can't run any higher than the exit point on the unit (about 20cm up) though otherwise the water just runs back into the unit.

Try Ruby Dry. Fits your job description and I've been happy to leave mine to get on with what it does for 3 years now.
