Garden: Plant / Weed Identification Help

Disclaimer: I like a nice garden, I know nothing about gardening - I mow and generally abuse bushes when they get too big and once in a while I'll throw some seeds around and hope they grow, they rarely do.

I have quite a few randomly placed examples of the plant / weed below, I'm just not sure what it is. I've tried a few online identification things but got lost.



Will this blossom into the saviour of my bland patch of earth or is it just a pesky week that needs to be banished along with all the others?

Edit: I've just realised how bad that image looks on a PC compared with the thumbnail on my phone, will try to get a better shot if this one doesn't show the important bits.
