I assumed it was just the time of year, but am now starting to wonder!

I seem to be waging a constant battle with spiders (well, more specifically cobwebs) on the outside of my house and garage. Is there anything (practical) available to get rid of the little buggers?

Glad it's not just us. We (I) clean our windows and within a couple of days they reselble a spooky house form the Adams Family again such if the amount of cobwebs all over.

Probably something to do with greater numbers of mosquitoes and midges this year due to the wet and warm weather. I see them as a way of helping me avoid itchy red lumps from bites for a few days.

It was only a few days ago i was thinking that i hadnt seen many spiders recently.

I must have tempted fate as something caught my eye scurrying across the bed this morning. It was this litte/big bugger!

I was quite shocked at the size of the thing. The pic doesnt really convey the actual size of the bd but the mug is an extra large mug and he's reared up slightly. When i caught him and he was fully spread out he wasnt far off the size of my hand.

Spider stuffed ears, it makes a nice side-dish to otters noses.
