Which software for home designing?

I'm after a package - not expensive - which I can use to design our house/extension and visualise the setup (but lie Beeny does but hers seems to be upwards of £600- way too much in looking at the sub £50 ideally)

Anothr vote for Sketch up, there are lots of tutorials on YouTube, from when Google owned it, the basic techniques haven't changed.

Yep, another for Sketch Up - just used it with our Architect to design and render our extension. We also use it to mock up some of the Race Car components!
