I needed wall painted in my garden and a friend recommended a bloke she knew.

next thing you know....

very chuffed with it. The artist is Inkie who is a well known London / Bristol based Graffiti artist.

Thought I would share in here...

Cool pad Obi won.

Classic Inkie piece there, very nice.

Been a Bristol lad all my life. Over in Westbury-on-Trym now if you ever fancy a pint in the Black Swan just holler.

The good stuff from the look of that!

Love it OP, really enjoy seeing art like that in people's homes, so much better than the usual only 'dabs in frames on a wall'

It's not a pool, it's a painting of a pool, can't you see

The girl is an Inkie signature motif. The balloon a reference to Bristol and it's position as a ballooning hotspot, whilst the landscape itself seems also to reference Bristol's hilly and leafy geography. I can't see clearly but perhaps some well known buildings on the skyline too... (EDIT: yup the bridge and that modern church in Clifton are there aren't they.)

All pretty cohesive.

Ill fire up the BBQ

yes, its the Bridge with the Cathedral, church and Brandon hill all in there.

also got our sons names discreetly hidden in there.
the girl is one of his signatures. He's named this one Santa Maria as a reference to the church opposite our house.

check this out for impressive steady hands.

It was amazing watching him at work. totally freehand and didn't have to redo anything.

I've been a big fan of Inkie for years so having a mutual friend to arrange this was a real privelege.

Me too.

Ok on a child's bedroom wall though.
