FAO Sparky's - does anyone know a brand of dry lining box that have top and bottom fixings for when plasterboard is damaged / broken?

Also ones that account for un-level cut outs would be good also?

Many thanks in advance :-)

Have you got faceplates with pins top and bottom?

No.. just standard MK logic - I know that's how they fix but just wondered if there was a product out there that has more points of fixing..

Just after a solution for knackered plasterboard around loose sockets but I have found you can get 2+1 boxes from Appleby so I may just use these and add a TV point or just a blanking plate.

Few drywall screws from the other side into a block of 3" x 2", screw the metal box to that? Smear of filler over the drywall screws on the other side.

I think this ^^ would be my approach too some form of wooden blocks in behind plasterboard then screw the box to them. Filler for touching up.

Another way is fresh bits of plasterboard glued to the back of the knackered stuff then use the standard clamp type fitting again.

Either bond it in, or best is probably to move it 6" to the side, and fill the old hole. (As long as cable allows)

But make sure to cut it right!

The spark I use always does this wherever possible.
