Not sure. I think it's made by Humax, but it's whatever BT are sending out at the moment.

I have exactly the same issue with my BT Youview box. I can't watch or record HD "internet" channels unless it's connected directly to the HomeHub.
I originally installed it via a switch, massive pixellation and breakups. BT suggested using Homeplugs, which they sent me for free. Same problem.

After much complaining, they said it needed a direct cable connection, and offered to send an engineer to do the job free of charge. I wanted the job done properly, so did it myself.

Now, if only I could get the Youview box to keep it's connection to the internet alive for more than 2 days. I regularly have to reboot the router.
