Chaps, recommendations for curtain makers (London)? Brought some rather nice material back from travels in the East, and need someone to make good curtains that are heavy, noise and light dampening. Any recommendations?

If I don't get this sorted, Lady F is going to shoot me. I sleep without curtains (have done for years, prefer it). She does not.

You could try calling http://www.ethelupholstery.co.uk/. She's my sister. If she doesn't do curtains, she'll know someone who does.

Buy a good quality sewing machine and DIY. Don't younger people sew anymore?

SWMBO makes all ours, plus some for our children and one or two others. She already has a commission for some blinds in New Zealand, but they are for our youngest who lives there and we are visiting in February.
