Dulux water based gloss
Discussion
What did you apply it on top of?
Regardless, I agree. The big brands seem unable to make this paint properly. I bought some Crown water based paint as hate the clean up and yellowing of oil based paints - I gave up after the 7th coat of paint.
I bought the Leyland acrylic paint (with the matching primer) from Screwfix - it's miles better.
Whatever you go with, I'd suggest rubbing it down and starting again.

I have a similar thread running & several posters have said they used Dulux Satin & it seemed ok. You need synthetic brushes & make sure the gloss is rubbed down to give a good key. The view seems to be that satin hides the issues a bit more than the gloss finish.
Over on the DiyNot forums they often suggest adding Floetrol to increase the working time but it dulls the gloss finish so it's probably best used in satin paints.

Cheers guys,I used Leyland acrylic undercoat with the dulux water based gloss applied with a synthetic brush.just wondering if it's worth giving it a light sand and putting a coat or two of oil based undercoat then oil based gloss, you would think that technology would be able to get a water based gloss that doesn't look like sh-t when applied.
