Hi chaps, sorry to forget about this thread but it was the day before I broke up paperbag

I attempted to bleed them using a socket set, then a pair of pliers, before admitting defeat and realising I need to buy a drain key. One has been ordered and is in the post to the house, so I will do it and keep you updated on heat output effect when I return in early January smile

Top tip, unscrew the valve slowly, do not keep unscrewing it to speed up the process. The valve will drop out, then you have to try to stem the flow of very hot water with your finger whilst trying to pick up the small valve and get it screwed back into place.

When you eventually get around to bleeding the rads , just unscrew the valve at most one whole turn , if you hear no air escaping wriggle the valve using the key .
Boiler must be running for best results , top tip , take an old towel with you .
