Right, so you have 150+ mm a side. Park close to the left wall, put carpet on the right hand wall so you don't damage your door and stop being a retard.
Unless you're very fat of course.
In fact, even better. Screw some chocks to the floor, push car into garage, chocks behind rear wheels. Problem solved.
Not forgetting some joker has put his steering wheel on the wrong side of the car Unless you're very fat of course.

We devised a similar system for my mother to park her car in her garage. It isn't a big car (Citroen C4) but the garage is the typical UK "how-small-can-we-legally-make-it" thing and she didn't want to damage the car. Bit of string tied from one side of the garage to the other, with some pipe insulation along one side of the garage. She drives in until she touches the string with the windshield, then opens the door which is cushioned by the pipe insulation. Job done.
OP, are you black? No not because of the council estate, staffy and disregard for the neighbours. Because the only Prowler that I've ever seen was being driven South towards the Blackwall tunnel with the roof down by a black bloke wearing sunglasses. Those cars certainly draw attention, brightened up a boring traffic jam. Can't be two of them so close to each other, how many in the country?

There is no legal size restriction on a garage. You could build a space two foot long by a foot deep and call it a garage if you wanted.Perhaps a more pertinent question is when was the garage _built_? Then compare the size of the average car back then with now...
OP you could try a Carcoon.

I keep my TVR in one.
Not as quick as a simple car cover but doesn't come into contact with your car and so doesn't damage your paint work.
