We don't know what form the correspondence from his LPA has taken so far.
It's quite possible that they've already served an Enforcement Notice, in which case he needs to appeal against that directly - you don't submit a separate retrospective application in such an instance; you pay the appropriate fee, and the Appeals Inspectorate judges the appeal and, if it is upheld, grants you Planning Permission at the same time, all as a single process.
If, so far, they've only written him a polite letter, then the Enforcements Notice is only a brief matter of time...
Either way, an appeal will ultimately be the route he has to take if he wants to string things out, but the end result is inevitable, I'm afraid - there's not an Appeals Inspector alive who would support him.
If you look at the original question 9 pages ago i was asking about wether the same rules applied those folding garages and gazeebos . Never for 1 minute thought id have a case. I read the planning portal and got it wrong . Just wanted to know if the folding garages and gazeebos fell under same criteria. It's quite possible that they've already served an Enforcement Notice, in which case he needs to appeal against that directly - you don't submit a separate retrospective application in such an instance; you pay the appropriate fee, and the Appeals Inspectorate judges the appeal and, if it is upheld, grants you Planning Permission at the same time, all as a single process.

looks like the idea of pushing it in to the garage is probaly best idea so far.

Aren't the rules of the custard test a photo?
Surely - a photo of custard with the OP - in the driver's seat of his car under the car port - with his dog in the passenger seat - and a copy of this week's Radio Times for good measure - must be the minimally acceptable standard.
Lol Just add water and before you say it think the beam will hold up to weight of the custard !!!!Surely - a photo of custard with the OP - in the driver's seat of his car under the car port - with his dog in the passenger seat - and a copy of this week's Radio Times for good measure - must be the minimally acceptable standard.
Think the charity deserves its £20 hahaa!

No !
Then I stand by my previous comment, ergo, you cannot recover the VAT - so the amount due is higher than you have stated.are you going to ask me for my vat registration number next
dont work for HMRC by any chance lol .

Pathetic.
Actually, it wasn't me that challenged the OP, it was Bramley.I am genuinely curious how any house extension can be made VAT exempt. But to OP seems short on facts on this - any explanation on how he is claiming VAT for a car port at his house, and generally being upset for building something inappropriate and not permitted under planning regs...
Its not rocket science .

Cant believe your all preaching the prim and proper life, no one is true to the system, you just make out you are so society doesn't climb on your back.
Well done OP and cheers for the sts and giggles.

OP how deep did you dig the holes for those 10 foot posts?
Given fence posts 6 foot above ground need to be 2 deep I'm assuming 10 foot + above ground is quite a lot more than 2 foot. Did that cause issues belong so close to the house and garage footings?
they are not 10ft post they are 8ft and its not a fence . a fence would fall over without being concreted in my carport might blow away or move but not fall on its side like a fence. four posts connected together give each other strength bit like a chair !

Well, it's that time of year, and this thread has certainly given some much needed amusement. So thankyou, OP for tolerating a lot of piss-extraction with good humour.
Happy Crimble to all if if I'm not on before then.
Does that mean I've waved my willy? Sorry about that...

I'd really like to know (on the assumption he isn't banned) why this is treated totally differently to the 944 scrap car off eBay while drunk thread.
I think you've answered your own question there:Welshbeef said:
my banning was due to creating a thread on lies wasting other posters time
Struggling as to how you also cannot see the near identical similarities - both were lies both wasted people's time one got a one month ban clearly the other gets nothing.... Same rules broken in the T&CS different or zero punishment ... Why? Or is it a case of maybe my banning was OTT...
tell you what as it xmas ill give you a little clue
look for a photo that contains a packet of custard and a carport lol !
mind you you will probaly tell me i photoshopped it hehee .

What about those who might be remortgaging and this lowers the market value of the property?
No guttering on the front is not on - pedestrians could get soaked / more ice at the front path.
Not that welshbeef again lol No guttering on the front is not on - pedestrians could get soaked / more ice at the front path.
Ever seen water run up hill ? For your info there's aco channells at back and it just so happens that the fall is that way.
As for devaluation ask your neighbours what there house has dropped in value since you moved in hehee ?
I have not been on this site much but can see how entertaining you are to the regulars -good job you need your own section or better still to be sectioned ! Lol
Now put this cap on and stand on the corner !!!
Ha you lot are fking funny i took it down a few days ago as needed some 4x2 and had till 30th to act until enforcement notice was served . Havent had the chance to look at thread till now and did wonder if the you lot had reported on developments lol . I see the same old tt is still on board and entertaining everyone .
I did consider putting advert on ebay for the carport i thought that it might get some interest from a New Zonda owner !!
