Looking good.

I might have missed it in previous pages, but what's going in/on the mezzanine?

Currently searching the net for suppliers of high resolution vintage motorsport pictures to use for the wall murals. Struggling!
How about this, then you can use any images you like:

http://www.wallsauce.com

Darren Heath has his own F1 section on the site:

That looks like an awesome site, I'm going to use wallsauce for a wall mural for my lounge now.

Good site but not vintage images. I posted later in the thread that I had sorted it, although we're looking into the resolution now.

OK, who left the foot/paw prints in the wet concrete?

Lol, good spot, I'll let Wayne, the owner of the building company answer that one, 'fking cats'.

Looks an absolute fabulous build and not jealous much. Are you planning on putting any heating in there?

Yeah, heating, air-conditioning and dehumidifier units are being built in throughout.

More pictures. Oak in now. Concrete flooring nearly complete.

It's going to be one hell of a motor home when completed. I've got to ask, is there a danger you will prefer it to your home? laugh

I think it's time to come clean. This is some kind of dungeon, isn't it...?

More progress made. More to be done tomorrow and Monday onwards. 4 x black four post lifts are being fitted next Wednesday.

Jacuzzi area. Seating to be built in against the wall and heaters will hang from the ceiling (to be fitted as per pics of other overhang areas below).

View into garage from the games room. Glass wall will separate the two rooms.

Covered area round the corner from the jacuzzi. Oak paneling to go in to make the ceiling all round the covered area.

Loft storage frame on, to be plasterboarded and a door fitted with a pull down ladder.

Covered area in front of the bays

Jacuzzi area from the other side showing where the oak/glass bi folding doors will go into the gym

Front view from the bottom of the existing garden/top of the new addition to the garden. Gable end top will be clad in rough oak.

View from the lane. Last job will be the fence, oak electric gate and birch hedging to match the existing garden.

Awesome build. How come you didn't have the oak done in a traditional way, pegged etc for a bit more detail?

Looking great, thanks for sharing. Gives me something to aspire to for my garage build. As a builder I have to say it looks a quality build, too. Out of curiosity, did you put any insulation under the concrete?

Something went down including some plastic sheeting but don't ask me what. As a non builder, I have no idea. Ive had Wayne and his guys do work before and trust him with a lot of the decisions. Im sticking to the stuff you can see.

Plastic sheeting could be to separate the screed from the celotex, therefore insulation, or it could be the damp proof.
