Been on holiday hence a lack of updates.

Glass wall is now in, pool table arrived yesterday, gate now in and working (although just the steel frame for now, oak next week) and various other finishing off jobs to do.

Ill get some more pictures at the weekend. Carfest Friday so it'll be Friday.

Should be doing the final pics (Although I might do a video, it'll be easier) within 2 weeks.

Whoah, it's 5 doors down and must have been the previous owners as that hasn't hapoened since I've been in the village and the new owners took over after I moved in.

Jim and Andy (2 brothers) who run it are top gents. Great pub, great food, great people.
Any chance of the name of the pub? I live in York and it sounds like somewhere I should go for a meal and pint! I'm not a stalker, honest! PM if you like.

Cheers

I'll let Leg answer this (should he so wish) but would go so far as to say they serve the best Sunday roast I have ever had. Rest of the food I have found to be good, wouldn't go further than that, but the roast is amazing. They must iron the crackling to get the ruler straight strip that sits atop of the pork.

Arcade machine arrived today. 7000 games installed ranging from Arcade games such as Donkey Kong, Pacman, and Gorf through to multiple classic laser disc and console games. Absolutely super build quality too.

Any details on the machine? costs? where to buy etc? The want on this is very strong...

Nom, now I am even more keen! Obviously I understand if leg doesn't want to reveal his location.

PMd. Try the Queen of t'old Thatch in South Milford too. Both excellent.

Any recommendations as to what its good for Leg? I'm central Leeds but often venture that way for a weekend drive/food.

You can do the games side of things using a Raspberry Pi or similar and emulators:

http://lifehacker.com/how-to-turn-your-raspberry-p...

Unless you've got a load of space, like Leg, I'd think that would be a better option. Hide the Pi and run cabling to behind your sofa or similar for the controllers for a fully discreet install.

If you follow the links and read the comments you'll see someone built their own cabinet with the arcade buttons that sits on a bench-top too.

We've had off the cuff dinner there on a weekday and bigger meals for 70th birthday parties. Its fine for either. Menu changes regularly.

Blacksmiths is the same although you're better off booking for the Smiths.

All that's left to do with the build is fit the glass wall door. They had problems with the fitting and cracked a tile but we've worked a way around it now.

Soon as that's done Ill post some video/pics.
