We have had some minor works nearby with BT vans and lifted manholes etc recently. Could they be running a fibre? Currently in Rural Devon, just outside Tiverton with only up to 1Mbps connection available to date and would love it if this was the fast pipe being delivered!!
Maybe just changing a length of cable..

Just thought I'd throw this in, we have OK bb when it worked 2-3meg tops, recently got an EE mobile 4g dongle wifi doodah & it's an impressive 10meg when stuck up in the loft smile

Worth a try as you can send it back before 14days is up.

It's synced at 79,999/19,999 (router suggests line limit is ~125/40Mb based on attenuation)

And yes, by cable I'm some 300M away.

Openreach are talking about a upgrade to the cab in the next month (Not vectoring as it's already enabled), not sure what that will be as the message comes from a non-tech source in Openreach.

In reality, 76M is nice but very OTT really, short of mass torrents, there's not a application that get's close to using half of that, having said that, the change in response times is massive (although a lot of that is ISP dependant).
