You couldn't let me know who the builder is could you? I have a property in Newbury Park that I am currently doing very similar work to so would prefer to avoid picking your now ex builder to do the job as I'm supposed to be picking one this weekend based on the estimates they've all given me.

Thanks but for some reason I didn't get it, I have tried sending you one too but it does not seem to be going through either as I am not receiving a copy, strange. My current choice of builder has also come from recommendations although I'm still not sure about him, hence me asking.

I don't know if we have met, I have been working abroad for the last 4 years but when I was around I was attending PH meets and runs in my Alfa.

Most tilers will base their cost on a rate m2.
For fixed price simple area x rate.

Cost per m2 typically between £25-35 m2.

ps most will prefer to supply their own adhesive / grout. from tilers point of view, they all have their favourite manufacturer, and from your point, if you supply adhesive and they are labour only, if there is an issue who is responsible?

We used Pilkington Blue in a friends 7mx4m conservatory, which they used as a summer / dinning room, and i do not recall it tinting anything inside the room. If anything the only thing it did tint wise was make a dull grey sky look nice and blue. But there was a lot of additional glazing to the front of it, so it was always bright.

I think I have a pic of it half glazed I will try and find the piccy

Couple more pics on our sunroom album to show the roof. Admittedly on a lovely sunny day, but I do think the blue is great!

you can zoom about.....the sky looks pretty well the same through the blue roof and the normal clear doors, although I guess the blue roof must 'enhance' it a little.
Good luck!
(sorry, pics too big to upload and me to lazy to work out easy way to resize down!)

I'd love to hear how they hold up as I'm planning our extension and concerned about the temperature of the room with this kit installed.

Ours is south facing.....I have the same fear....we put electric openers in our lantern in the hope that if it is warm, we can easily deal with it!!

The 600 x 300 wall cabinet in the corner, make sure it's a single door with the hinge in the corner, not a twin door as it will be difficult to open.

The integrated fans in the roof are indeed st. Get an inline one in the roof space & you will be fine, I now have zero moisture with the added benefit of no fan noise too smile

Don't forget the back draft shutters.

Edit, sorry, you say it's too late now.

I once met a plasterer on site who went around after plastering and carefully cleaned out every electrical back box. I think he must have been unique as he's the only spread I've ever seen to do it.

When second fixing a property, we lost a backbox once. The spread had well and truly covered it. Had to go around poking the wall where we thought it was to find it.

I designed something really simple to stop that happening once. Both getting mucked in and loosing them completely.

Build looking really good Toxic.

£200 a day, roughly figure out how many days you think it would take someone who knows what they are doing, do the maths.
