Funnily enough I have had issues with a national chain of Lawn people trying to carry on with work after Id told them to naff off as well

They did an initial treatment and promised that they could do an aeration at a good price at the same time, way cheaper than me hiring the appropriate kit even splitting with a neighbour

Guess what - they did the treatment then conveniently said they didnt do aeration any more

Despite me telling them that was the end in writing and on the phone with the local lead they have turned up regularly ever since
Sometimes we're in to tell them to go away, sometimes not

Bit cowboy really but if I get a freebie now and again Im not complaining

Shocking from both sides. Why on Earth did you let them and what are they doing?

This really won't have done the lawn any favours.
I phoned them a week in advance to postpone it and they'd snuck it in early as they were 'in the area'

I will be cancelling it and I will be seeking an explanation in writing as to why they did it a day before frost and snow was forecast - it's not as if this weather has come out of the blue
its not so much the frost the next day. More the potential 2-3 months worth depending on your location in the country that's the problem!
