Composite Door

Thought i would tag onto this thread instead of starting a new one.
We're having a composite front door fitted, chosen company, highly recommended local firm etc.
We've got a quote for a Stop Door for just over £1k, or a solidor for £200 more.
Both look pretty much the same, but the Stop Door is a foam structure with GRP coating, the Solidor is timber structure with 'thermal plastic' coating.
Is the Solidor worth the £200 extra? I'm thinking yes tbh, thoughts?

The only thing going for the more expensive option is we'd have a super secure front door, but standard double glazing French doors round the back, so any thief with half a brain would go through those instead.
They're always going to get in if they want to. You just need to make it harder than they can be bothered with.Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
