Morning, just after an opinion..

We need a new patio, it will be 6mx12m with an extra 5m x1m of path on each side.
The drop is probably between a foot and a foot and a half.
We have been quoted £7.4k to supply and build it. This is for sawn sandstone and a brick retaining wall with a couple of steps down to the garden. I have seen the builders work and it seems to be to a high standard.

I appreciate we can do it cheaper (one of the reasons we need a new patio is because the last one was cheap) however I want a proper job.

Thoughts on the price?

Cheers

D

ok, limited info obviously, but, if anywhere South in the country the price is ok,works out less than £100 p/m with wall/steps and if a good builder with a good spec on materials, depths, dainage etc then sounds fine.

I'm in the process of paying £3200 for 36 sq mtr of smooth limestone patio and path. Oh and a 3x6 mtr shed base.

My brother owns the company doing the work so I'm only paying lads wages, ie no mark up, and all materials and slabs are at trade price.
