We have a Lindlam one. We bought it off a local faacebook sale group. Only paid a tenner for it and it works really well. You need a spanner to adjust the fitting points. Use a proper spanner and not the crap thing that comes with gate.

Our baby is only 8 weeks old, so running isn't an issue. What is an issue is our greyhound, Herbie. We use it to keep him out of the bedroom until we let him in at 6am every morning. Thats every morning too. He doesn't know what weekends are frown

Half of the reviews on line are by dog owners!

I've ordered a couple of the Lindam ones as I don't need ones at an angle. Less than £50 for the pair including delivery.

Looks like a little job for me on the weekend so will report back on what they are like.

Another +1 for the "Lindam Extending White Metal Safety Gate"

We had several round the house and they lasted well for the 3+ years they were there. Easy to operate one handed as well

We use the Ikea ones, can't really fault them. Easy to fit, solid, and my 4-year old happily swings on them without concern (mine or theirs)
