Mira seem to get a good rep. Note that Grohe restrict the water flow out of their showers because of some eco-hippy water saving ethos which may not work well for you. It's not great for us, which is a shame as there is no denying that Grohe quality is top notch. Mira on the other hand actively advertise their showers as having the highest water flow on the UK market.

Is that all Grohe showers or only certain models?

Having done a lot of research and chosen my shower set from Grohe it seems if you avoid their "Eco-joy" feature you should be fine. Most of the shower heads and hand shower heads have alternative product codes if you want a variety of Eco-joy flow options - which I duly ignored and stuck to the standard version.

The water restriction happens within the shower block, not just the shower head. But I agree that EcoJoy is probably the phrase to look out for.

Reviving this thread as I have to choose rainshowers for 2 renovated bathrooms.

Unfortunately other half is fussy on design and isn't a fan of the current range mad

What other makers of thermostat/shower heads are on a par with Grohe/Hansgrohe for quality?
We got a few Zucchetti bits in a recent renovation (2 x shower heads and all of our taps) and have been impressed by both the design and the quality, so far at least! A lot of high ends hotels use them (Four Seasons, ME Hotel in London etc) so I am hoping they'll be durable too.

OK thanks

Hopefully I am OK then - both shower head and hand shower fittings are the unjoyful model, and the thermostatic mixer is "Rapido T" which has no mention of ecojoy technology

Whereas in the new bathroom I just had done I deliberately went for the eco version as it's the one my (currently very young) daughters will be using!!

Will be going full power in mine + Mrs O's!
