Never been. But everyone raves about it. smile

We used to live up your end of town, but we are outsiders now. smile

That reminds me. Saw you in your TVR last year and forgot to say what a lovely machine it is.

Go to Hargreaves, the ready meals are to die for. I drive thirty miles to stock up on them and you're on the bloody doorstep yum
I'll give it a try. smile

Are you not in the local town anymore?

Have to say with this development I am now concerned about this development as we are on the s bends into Pinchbeck and we have field views behind our house as far as the eye can see. When we purchased and started renovating we never considered development of the land behind ours but pinchbeck and Spalding are now practically joined up. Maybe time to put a serious offer into the farmer to purchase and protect our view
I guess that's the only thing you can do. smile

Are you being affected by the plans to build some more houses near yours?

You may not still live there. However, I have recently noted that there are plans to build on a bit of land near the S bends.

Update on this.

Work started on the field late last year. Builders have successfully ripped up a nice line of trees and the ground is all dug up. Big bits of pipe are being buried as we speak. We have ended up facing a massive mound of soil (as high as our house) that they piled up at the edge of the field.

The name of the site has been revealed, and it's a cracker. It's being called '(name of the place) Fields'. The signs for it also show nice big pictures of vast, empty green fields. You really couldn't make this up, could you. rofl
