Now that I have more confidence in drilling tiles (thank you! smile ) I need to buy the shower enclosure. Wow, there is a lot of them.

Any advice as to what to look for? The gap is 1180mm (so most 1200mm seem to do the job), but they vary so much in price.

I have found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FXXYSQ6/ref=... is that any good?

Thanks,

Steve

I'd recommend looking at a local supplier if possible, no idea if that one is good or not though!

With hindsight, I would choose a hinged over a sliding door.

Within a couple of years (enough time to lose the receipt), all four of the bottom sliders had broken leaving the doors just hanging off the top rail.

I'd imagine a hinged door would also be easier to clean as the slider is a grot trap.

Rollers are at the top only a guide for the door at the bottom.

I would go around some showrooms I found when lookin around the same price they look pretty much the same but as soon as you slid the door the differences were night and day. Some totaly shonky that felt like it was going to fall off some glided nicely with one finger and no wobble.
