My brother popped round and gave it 2 coats of cuprinols coloured wood preservative. Initial feel on the paint is it seems very good quality. Time will tell on that one... At least it isnt Ronseal, my ronseal decking oil has failed miserably after only a few months - new thread to come on that situation.

In the left of the first 3 photos you can see a "mud kitchen" the wife requested be made for the boy to play in. I had to use the pallets that the bricks were delivered on so no expense there and also finally banished the cheap plastic washing up bowl that we never use from the kitchen sink. So at least now the kitchen is 23% less council smile

To be fair its the camera that picks out the very greenness. Its almost like the fence colour in real life. The camera seems to amplify it a lot.

Also colour was the wifes choice and was fairly pricey so no chance of changing it. Although I wanted it to be blue, so that probably wouldnt be much better smile

Costs were fairly minimal:
Log cabin: £1280
Skip: £105
Building materials (bricks, foundations, mortar): £220
Concrete delivery 1.4m3: £240
Paint: £70
Brothers time to paint: £100 ish (he did more than one job for me).

Here is the site I bought it from:

Mine is the 3.3mx3.7m log cabin. The company ordered from were fairly useless however, delivery date should have been when i was home but was late of course and so wife had to deal with it. The delivery driver offloaded it but refused to put the parts in the garage, so she had to move it all into the garage after he had left. Driver put all parts against the wall of the garage, its no further to the garage. Company said it would be no problem to put it in the garage for her, so I wouldn't recommend them. Plenty of people sell this shed, buy it from someone better smile
