Hi,

My mum's integrated washer dryer is on its last legs. I saw this one to replace it, which looks like it'll fit the bill.

But it looks like the bit the door attaches to is slightly different to her current machine, which looks like this.

Should her new machine be full compatible with the existing doors, or will extra stuff be required to make it fit?

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for a different integrated washer dryer I'd be all ears. smile

Thanks!

I'm on my phone so difficult to see the washers on your links.
You'd be very lucky If the holes lined up in the new machine compared to the old one.

I'd assume that the hole diameter for the hinge is 35 mm diameter as this is pretty standard. Other than that you will require a screwdriver to afix the hinge and mag plate that holds the door shut.

If when drilling the holes they are slightly different widths apart from the originals it will be difficult to drill the holes. If so drill a 35mm dia hole into something like a peice of 12mm ply/Mdf etc and then position and clamp where required on door and this will help the drill stay located in the correct position whilst drilling.

To honest, fitting a washer door can be a 20 minute job or two hours. Just make sure that you measure in from the edge of the door correctly as well as the distance apart between hinges.

Best of luck smile

There's often a door hinge template with integrated appliances, I used a router to make new recesses when my new washer was different.
