Moutfield 1228M Start Issues

My Mountfield 1228M was working fine however it will not start now, I don't know if it is from leaving the key in the ignition?
I put the key in, the LED is lit, I turn to start position and it flashes / blinks but no start up noise.
The cutting deck is in the raised position, gears in neutral and driver on the seat, please help!

Sounds like the solenoid has become stuck/corroded? Check if two or three pole. EBay or mower shop.I put the key in, the LED is lit, I turn to start position and it flashes / blinks but no start up noise.
