Free Scale Room / Floor Plan Program?

Anyone recommend a free room planner / floor plan program?

Need to be able to draw room dimensions & would be good to put scale furniture or shapes into it.

Not so fussed about a 3D rendering or anything afterwords.

Dozens online so before I try them all or download them can anyone suggest a decent one?

Cant go wrong with Sketchup really. Free to download (http://www.sketchup.com/), loads of guides on youtube and there is a warehouse of pre-made furniture and the such ready to drop into your model. (https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/)
