Yes I know they're compromised but so is the space available,

£6-700 avail if need be, have you got one and if so what do you make of it/ would you recommend it?

TIA!

We have had washer dryers for last 30 years. Our current LG machine is very good. Plus it came with a 5 year guarantee as standard.

Get a top brand, even if second hand. Bosch. Miele, Siemens, and indeed LG are pretty good too. Stay away from the usual Hotpoint, Candy, Electrolux et al, utter ste. Imo of course.

Had an Indesit (?) in a previous house with 4 tenants in. Was good, and about £400 new.

get whichever one comes with the longest warranty. I have an AEG that came with an extended 3 or 5 year warranty. Had the chap out, and he said because of the way they're built its not a question of if, but when they need fixing, due to the fluff that comes off the clothes and flies around the back, causing them to overheat.

Thanks people,

Interesting that the few available on Currys (as an example) about the £700 mark all have 5 year warranties, whereas AO's don't...

Who makes/ is AEG these days?
