I've seen remote controlled plug points but can't seem to find a remote controlled light switch.

We have a couple of switches for lights in the garden which are 50 metres away across the grass. I know it's not far but it's a pain, especially coming back, when it's dark, having supped the odd beverage during the evening.

Help please.

wise (branded) stuff is okay, has always worked for me, actually I wouldn't fit anything else since I find most remote/radio systems temperamental.

My wife is sadly rendered immobile on the sofa sometimes when she has a duvet over her legs and a glass of wine in her hand.

Incredibly I seem to turn the light off or on at her command even when I've just fking sat down with a beer or plate full of spaghetti.

I'm not sure this answers your question, but in terms of voice activated, wireless light control systems -this seems to work with depressing reliability.

Varilight do some good stuff (got a load in the house as they are compatible with the leds we have - trailing edge IIRC)

I have a number of bits of their gear and find it very good. Looks smart and works well.

Prices have gone up in the last 12mths though, and product supply can be iffy. I think it's been discussed on here before.

I'd still buy it though smile
