If I might resurrectsmile

I've ended up with virtually the same make up as Richard, other than copper as the top coat.

10 deg pitch, softwood rafters, 11mm OSB 2, VCM, 120 PIR, 18mm OSB. I have a contractor laying the copper on this.

I have all the materials other than the fixings, which I would like to order today.

There seems to be a few options, nails, screws etc. Spax seem well reviewed, but have flat head and countersunk and various other options.

Any advice on what and how many, amateur instal? It comes out at 45 sq. metres.

Thanks

I had these delivered yesterday...................

My roof will be "thinner" than yours as i've opted for

Joists
SuperQuilt
Firrings
18mm OSB3 T&G
75mm PIR
18mm OSB3 T&G
GRP

And for any doubters out there my Building Control (indie) was dubious about using SuperQuilt as he wanted 175mm PIR yikes He changed his mind when I gave him copies of the manufacturers certification, installation method and U value calculations.

The man installing the copper will want a nice clean deck, so no screw heads poking up.

Thanks both, so go countersunk.

Do you have a view on number/density?

I'm going 150mm around all "edges" and 300mm intermediate.
