Euro meridian alarm showing engineer code needed

Hi all, long shot, but my old meridian alarm this morning has thrown up a fault code "engineer reset required 12879".
Haven't got the engineers code and the tag keys are not responding, so i'm guessing i'll have to pay for a call out? Any help before i call the
expensive alarm company appreciated. Mark

It's programmed to require engineer attention in the event of a fault, so call-out it is.

Hopefully it's under contract or you have a relationship with the company, because that's an obsolete system now and many won't want to touch it.

I know of a company that will - because they look after a similar system that I have.
