We have a mix of Feather & Black (one has 16,000 springs in it I think) and Laura Ashley - both makes are excellent

I've just bitten the bullet and ordered one of these in medium;

If it lives up to the claims I doubt I'll ever want to get out of bed. I'll let people know how I get on when it arrives.
I ordered the same before Christmas. Be aware the Base splits lengthways rather than width ways. Important if you have access issues. Mine had to go back to be remade into 4 pieces.
It arrived today and I'd not realised that the drawers plus the sprung divan plus the double sided mattress plus the topper mean it's nearly 3 feet tall!

Supremely comfortable so far whilst it's been just the mattress on the floor - hopefully will get even better.

I haven't slept so well in years. Somnus Diolomat super King with somnus protector. The join isn't an issue but it's so big it's like sleeping on your own.

Wouldn't you keep falling off those ones?

Yes. Keep meaning to turn the mattress.

Should post back as well.

After visiting numerous shops, decided on Bedside Manor in Leeds. Not much to look at from the outside but cavernous once you start to explore.
Very basic but the owners are very knowledgeable and clearly love what they do.

Ordered a Harrison Pearl 6000. Should be with us in a few weeks.

I've been searching the archives and seen an interesting thread on new mattresses which has links to the Hypnos beds that are used in Premier Inns and Travelodges. I posted on it earlier today.
