Just outside Marlborough is Great Bedwyn. There is a station there and seems a nice place.

Affordable?!? - £650k. Really? its a semi too. Looks lovely though and probably worth the price for the area.

I hadn't realised I had quoted! Sorry!

However I do believe the Great Bedwyn train goes at least twice a day. Round these parts that's frequent. The bus in my parent's village comes once a week- but doesn't return there. One direction once a week only.
