I've got a couple of stone shower trays to install and both require the waste to be bossed into the internal soil stack. Everything I've read on the subject seems to state that a 75mm water seal is required in this scenario but I simply can't find any such traps for sale.

I can find plenty of gully traps with 75mm water seals but they're all for wetroom-type installations rather than traditional shower trays.

The closest I came was this: https://www.bellabathrooms.co.uk/april-high-flow-s...

but looking at the measurements, the trap is 113mm wide and the chrome part looks way smaller. I don't think it's suitable for a shower tray with a 90mm waste hole.

Any advice gratefully received!

I'm lost (and I've just fitted two)

The Waste has to fit the shower - that's all.

The 40mm waste pipe uses a standard boss to fit the 4" soil pipe.

Edit - I presume they are saying the vacuum can pull the water from the trap - I've never had a problem and I've fitted them and lived with them for 10+ years.

Sorry, probably my garbled explanation...

The problem isn't running the waste to the soil stack and connecting it; it's finding a trap that fits the tray AND has a 75mm deep water seal. I can find plenty of 90mm traps but they all have 50mm water seals. I can find plenty of traps with 75mm water seals but they're all designed for floor installations rather than shower trays.
